Recently, Puma Golf announced some changes for their 2015 Spring/Summer line. The goal of these changes is for Puma to stay competitive with their partners while remaining appealing to their dare-to-be-different consumers and along with the industry as a whole.
Changes you’ll see with Puma Golf Spring/Summer 2015
Improving Commerciality
Puma wants to still be perceived as an innovative, desirable, meaningful brand while also keeping their place as a significant player in the industry. However, they are looking to appeal to a wider audience while maintaining differentiation for their core audience, so you will see an increase of color mixes and better fits across all lines.
Expansion
Puma will be expanding their tour staff, providing better merchandising direction and more competitive pricing. You can expect to see more of their ambassadors – Rickie Fowler, Willie Mack, Jonas Blixt and Lexi Thompson.
Products
We’ll be seeing more consistent fits across all styles. There will be an expansion of bold graphics and fun colors on the GoTime Line to appeal to the bolder consumer, in addition to clear lines from Sportstyle line designed to appeal to a broader consumer base. Within the upcoming golf line, colors will also be expanded across essential pieces with longer life cycles and will be priced competitively while still remaining high quality sports apparel. In addition, they’ve improved the comfort of footwear and made them lighterweight, in addtion to bringing accessories in-house for more consistent quality. Here at parsonskellogg, we’re very excited about what’s on the horizon.
